This panel is a discussion of Gothic Lolita fashion, intended for an intermediate-level audience. Many intro panels outline the history of the style and its rules, but few panels discuss ways to integrate brand and off-brand pieces to create unique, memorable outfits. This panel will focus on how to use the rules of lolita to improve existing coords. We will cover the way to distinguish good outfits from bad, how to select items for an outfit, the importance of details, and how to build and care for a loli wardrobe. We will critique our own past outfits, discussing what went wrong and brainstorming ways to improve them. Attendees will leave with increased coordination skills and a clearer conception of the fashion.
