Moderated Panel COSPLAY
The Ladies of Power are at AnimeFest! This panel is welcome to girls of all ages, races, and genders (not a typo!). We're here to help bring Power to "Girl Power". These Ladies talk about their experiences as female nerds, cosplayers, and regular experiences. Also discussed are their charity projects, past and current and ways anyone and everyone can help and be a Lady of Power. The floor is open to the audience to discuss how they feel about femininity in fandom and show off their cosplay skills. The Ladies of Power will give out prizes to the coolest cosplayers in the audience.

Ladies of Power is a charity group of young women from all over North Texas. The goal is to inspire girls and women across the globe to tackle obstacles and stand up for their beliefs. They do projects to raise money to help women and children, such as the organization that funds girls in third world countries to go to school. The Ladies attend many conventions to talk about the issues many people face, especially women and minorities, in the geek social spaces with the hope to raise awareness and make things better for future generations.
