We have prepared a comedy edit of the film that has been screened at conventions before in celebration of this infamous gem. We have added audio and visual gags throughout the movie, as well as condensed the movie somewhat to fit the panel into 90 minutes (the movie does tend to drag at times, so we've cut off some fat so to speak, 2 hours was simply too long) in addition to adding our commentary and reveling in the blatant overacting and bizarre set pieces of the movie. Video game movie adaptations have a somewhat bad reputation which this movie certainly helped cement, but that doesn't mean we can't love it and have a little good-natured fun at its expense. Our hope is that this panel provides something a little different than the usual panels at anime conventions. Because we have performed this panel several times (including at AnimeFest), we are always adding new jokes, removing jokes that miss the mark, and otherwise trying to improve the panel, as it is a constant work in progress. We are excited to share our latest version of the Pax Bisonica with our fellow otaku, and hope we are given the opportunity to present it at AnimeFest this year.
