Held every night starting on ThursdayWerewolf (the genre) is a social game ideally played by large groups of people. It is originally based on a game known as Mafia. In this game, the Villagers must discover the identity of the Werewolves before they are all killed. Every night, the Werewolves form a hunting pack to kill a single unlucky victim. When the sun rises, the hysterical Villagers pick someone to lynch. During the daytime phase of the game, the Werewolves pretend to be Villagers, or can even pretend to be the Seer, the one special Villager who can identify the Werewolves at night. Players are allowed to and encouraged to bluff, lie, and misdirect in order to win the game.
If the Villagers lynch all of the Werewolves, they win the game. If the number of Werewolves becomes equal to or greater than the number of all other remaining villagers, the Werewolves overpower them and win the game.
This is a custom version that includes a wide range of special roles beyond just the Seer. There are over 30 different roles to pick from. The suggested minimum number of players is 10, including the Town Mayor (GM), but it can go up to 30 people in one game.
Enso Koi - A Modern Abstract Strategy Board Game
2-6 Players (demo will only be 2 player)Avg. Game time - 20 min ( 1hr+ for strategy enthusiasts)
Capture the opponent's pieces to win!
Enso Koi is themed after Japanese Nishikigoi ( Koi fish) with a Chinese Taoist approach to it's mechanical construction.
Players each have a set of different Koi Breed Pieces that posses different move sets rules.
Players move any and all their pieces per turn to navigate the game board and move around stones in order to capture the opposing Koi pieces.
Strategically relocate stones within the board for tactical advantage. Revive dead pieces to cascade waves of attacks back at the enemy to reverse the flow of victory.
Enso Koi is a modern adaptation of the ancient genre of abstract strategy.
It is very easy to learn but requires a lifetime to master.
Those who are Chess and Go fans will appreciate the even deeper levels of thinking required.
Those who are not familiar with Abstract Strategy will find Enso Koi very engaging and similar in nature to tactic game classics like FF Tactics and Fire Emblem!
The game retains a pace that keeps even spectators on their toes.
The tides of battle can reverse at any point in the game.
